Wicca is a Philosophy of Life

Our mission at the Wiccan Way website is to provide you with all the information you need to enhance your understanding and appreciation of the “Old Religion”, Wicca.

Wicca is a modern version of traditional witchcraft and is based on the old earth religions of Europe and England.

The term “Wicca” comes from an Old English word meaning “to bend or shape” or “to have wisdom”.

Wicca is as much a philosophy of life as it is anything else. What is often lost in today’s fast paced world is a basic understanding that we as beings, are not separate from nature, but are indeed integral parts of it.

We are made of the same “star stuff” as the rest of the universe,. We are children of this universe, we can create our own reality and if we believe  in ourselves enough, we can make things come to pass, wondrous things.

To the uninitiated this may sound fantastic, though if you do find this manifestation of your own reality too much to believe, you may want to research “quantum physics” which is starting to lead to exciting conclusions that support this fundamental Wiccan reality.
